Srinagar, Apr 10: With an overall pass percentage of over 95 percent, State Council of Educational Research and Training Monday declared results of 8th standard in hard and soft zones of Jammu, Kashmir divisions.

According to an official, at least 95.02 percent of students from government schools passed the exams in both hard and soft zones, with 93.85 passing in Jammu and 95.85 passing in Kashmir.

He stated that 98.58 percent of private school students in both soft and hard zones had passed the exams. “The exams were passed by 97.84 percent of Jammu private school students and 95.53 percent of Kashmir division students.”

The official said that a total of 17,554,7 students were enrolled for the exams and 16,956,4 candidates qualified the exams.
