Fresh Snowfall In Higher Reaches Of Kashmir

Traffic temporarily suspended on Srinagar-Leh Highway

Srinagar- Fresh snowfall was reported in several areas of Kashmir valley, with around 8 inches of snow accumulating at Sinthan Top.

Gulmarg and Sonamarg also saw fresh snowfall, while Zojila Pass recorded a substantial amount of snow, making it a busy time for the Border Roads Organisation (BRO)

Due to the snowfall, the Srinagar-Leh Highway was temporarily closed until BRO teams could clear the snow and make the road safe for travel.
